Mabelle Lansdell is a Peruvian Artist and Art Instructor, relocated to Virginia Beach she is Associate Artist at the Artist Gallery in Virginia Beach , Artist Member of Tidewater Art Alliance & Chesapeake Bay Art Association.
Mabelle is well known for her whimsical big eye Pop surrealism style, influenced by Frida Kahlo, Mermaids, Fairytales, mythical creatures, and the Inca culture. She creates a fantasy world of surreal creatures and fairytales every time she pick up a brush and starts a new painting.
Her Art allows her to work from home and raise her children , one of whom is autistic and requires her full attention, love and support.
Her work is sold around the world and her artwork is held in many private collections, currently her art is available in local shops and galleries around Hampton Roads. and Chincoteague Island.
Two of her big Eyes Frida Kahlo inspired paintings were exhibited at MOCA The Virginia Museum Of Contemporary Art in 2016.
